Bet types & in-play

Smaller bookmakers often compete on the range of bets they will write, so a clear picture of what each type costs helps in reading any menu. The section sets the types side by side.

Acca, each-way and single come first. Then come the full-cover bets, whose size is simply a count: a Heinz contains 57 bets and a Goliath 247, while a Yankee has 11 and a Trixie only 4. Bet builder and cash out sit at the back, with ante-post, Asian handicap and live streaming.

Whatever the cover, a stake per bet multiplied by how many bets it contains gives the full outlay. Great Britain bookmakers do sell in-play betting; cash out stays an operator’s own feature and no statutory right.
